Shy baby
Hey, my baby is 4 months old, we live quite far from family and friends so they see her every couple of weeks but since about 3 months she’s become really shy and cries when she goes to anyone other than me or her Dad (sometimes even him if he’s away at work a long day).
Is anyone else’s baby like this? I thought this phase came a bit later? I’m struggling to see family members as they want to hold her but it really upsets her and makes me feel really anxious and nervous taking her back again, people say she needs to get used to it which she does in a way but in her own time?! Looking for any advice please.
My son is like this. I will hold him and see if he warms up to people. Some times he does and will let them hold him for awhile. Other times he isn't having it and wants nothing to do with them. I tell people they will have to wait till he wants them. U can force it. My son is 4 months. He still won't go to his grandpa on his father side. But if I hold him, he will babble at him.
