Bedtime

My son is 4 next month and won’t sleep in his own bed he keeps waking up crying we could leave him 5 /10 mins and he’s right up or half hour and he’s up again crying any advice in to get him to sleep in his own bedroom

Your child sounds very much like mine. They are sensitive souls. I chose to co-sleep with him and give him the comfort he needs as I hate the idea of 'training' little humans like that, leaving them crying etc. I believe you need to create a calming and safe environment for them and eventually they will learn that sleep is a safe time and will go longer stretches during the night. 4 months is also known as a sleep regression so very normal for babies to wake up often around that time. You've got this :)

My nearly 4 yo still sleeps in my bed, it's the only way for us all to get some sleep. My poor hubby got relegated to the kids bed 🤣 It won't be forever so I'm enjoying the bedtime snuggles at the moment. He used to wake several times and he'd cry and get really upset if I wasn't next to him but he mostly sleeps through now even if I go downstairs for a few hours in the evening. So no real advice but here in solidarity x
