Noise around babies when sleeping

My LO is 10 months old, because I have my own place, my LO has always slept in a very quiet environment (white noise or some kind of lullaby is always on in the background) and I’ve always kept it that way as I was worried of waking the baby up. But, now have to come to realise that, that’s probably not the best approach as any little noise and my LO wakes up. This means I’m physically tip toeing around, which is fine. But when we’re in a house full of other members of family they obviously can’t always adjust to that and it’s not practical. I don’t expect them to be completely silent. They do try but little things like closing doors or talking etc. Has anyone else gone through this? What do you do? FYI, I always put my LO down in a room alone and NOT somewhere it’s obviously going to be noisy.

We're the same, I don't know how to change it now we even brush our teeth downstairs to avoid waking him up 😅

Night sleep baby is in a quiet room but Christ almighty - she’s a light sleeper - floorboards / the chain / electric toothbrush - I’m like a woman possessed if I hear this as she could wake. I only do white noise for naps (noisy builders working on 2 neighbours homes).

Yeah it's hard he always gets woken when people come to stay I'm hoping naps at nursery might force him into becoming a bit of a deeper sleeper. I've avoided using white noise since he was tiny
