I have an Epsom salt bath without fail every night and this helps. My pregnancy cushion I almost lay on, smush it right up my bottom so it takes a lot of the weight off the lower hip and I make sure my top leg is as high with another pillow as I can get it. The day I can tear away all the massive of pillows I will be so happy but they really do help because I wake up with almost cramp style pain in my hips if I don’t have the support!
I did when I was pregnant and unfortunately it doesn’t go after! I found a pillow between my legs helped a little!
I've found this too over the past week! I was using a pregnancy pillow anyway between my legs, but the last few nights I've added a thick blanket as well to raise my leg so it's more inline with my hip and that's helped massively. Not really had any pain in the night since doing that!
I had this when I was pregnant! The only thing that helped was laying in very soft pillows in bed! When I gave birth though the pain went away
Also one of my worst symptoms at the moment. I toss and turn like a rotisserie chicken. A pillow in-between the legs does help but it's got to be thick enough to really separate the knees. X
I found stretches worked well for me, I did some poses like butterfly and pigeon. And I took magnesium, I felt like I had less leg cramps and less pain in my hips.
Yes, I get this most nights, I have tried different pillows between my knees to help ease the discomfort but as I switch sides in the night and the pillows move, I find I still wake up with it. Thankfully it does go away once baby is here x
Yep same I have to use 4 pillows, I lie on one big one under my bum and thigh, one between the legs, and then one at my back and one under bump to wedge myself in. Getting in and turning is such a production though!
I keep getting this too, I’ve found if I try sit/lay around less in the day this helps and also doing some hip stretches in evening (just copied a pregnancy hip stretch YouTube video) seems to help!
I have had this since about 26 weeks. Havent found anything that has helped. I wake up every hour or so throughout the night. Now 37 weeks and still hurts to sleep so not getting much! X
This is me right now 😫 I had a night away without my pregnancy pillow last night and it was awful. The pillow definitely helps. I’m also having to stretch every night before bed as well.
I had this then when pregnant and still struggle with it now and I’m 10 weeks postpartum 😫 x
I just bought a pregnancy belt for sleeping and it has really helped me in the morning/when sleeping. I still get pain during the day but am waking up less exhausted/more comfortable. It's got memory foam on the hips then acts as a basic belly band in the middle
No help, but me too :( sometimes I groan too when I have to do my three point manoeuvre to the other hip 🤣 It’s awful! I have a little pillow for between my legs but can’t say if that helps really xx
