C section
When it was decided you'd be having a c section (I'm predicting and hoping its not classed as an emergency, just due to him being so big) how quick did you get in? Was it the same week/weeks?
Im 38 weeks on Wednesday, was meant to have a growth scan that day but they've brought it forward to tomorrow due to how big he looked today after a visit to triage to check up he was okay (reduced movements-again just due to size everythings fine).
Should I still be expecting a week or so until I go in? I will cry if they tell me I have to wait another week I'm becoming more uncomfortable by the hour 😭
He was 7lbs at 36 weeks for reference

I had an emergency c section after a failed induction. Honestly if you have to have an emergency c section they are still calm. Mine was cat 2 and they where all super chill (I wasn't I was living my worst nightmare at the time). But litrally when I went into theatre it was like walking into a calming space, which helped me stay calm
Scan at 38 weeks and consultant appointment immediately after. She opened the diary and found the next available slot which was 1 week away, at exactly 39 weeks. They don't like to do them before 39 weeks unless there's medical reasons

I had my consultant appointment on a Friday to discuss, confirmation letter the next day on the Saturday which confirmed I was booked for the week after!
