Worried

I’m 15 weeks and had an argument with my husband, I got emotional and had a mild panic attack. I took a shower to calm down and after the show I threw up (I’ve never thrown up this far in this pregnancy so this was the first time). Now I have intense cramps on my lower left side all the way through to my back and down my left leg. I’m not sure if I should go get checked out tomorrow? Can the panic attack take a toll on the pregnancy?

I get panic attacks pretty regularly unfortunately, and as long as you can regulate yourself and calm back down And it’s not a daily thing it won’t hurt baby. They feel what we feel, but one panic attack won’t harm your pregnancy. I’d say if the cramping continues to get worse or is accompanied by spotting, you should definitely get checked out. But the best thing you can do after a panic attack is try to relax. Panic attacks can 100% cause you to throw up, and sometimes I also cramp if I get one. I usually just lie down and make sure I’m drinking water or even eat a small comfort snack. I’m sorry you experienced that ❤️

My nausea definitely skyrockets when I am anxious! And I have definitely had weird nerve pain during the pregnancy especially if I make sudden moves

the cramping is so common with vommitting and dehydration in pregnancy. my calves have been cramped since 11 weeks. i get anxiety and it panic attacks as well. my blood pressure has been higher than usual this whole pregnancy. drink water, drink tea, do whatever you can to relax and stay hydrated. explain to your husband what the stress does to you and your baby. i’m paranoid, if you feel like it’s the right thing to do, go to the er and get checked out.
