Needing a new breast pump

I am having my second baby and ordered a hands free breast pump through insurance since I already had a blue s1 Spectra from my first baby. I recently learned that my spectra does not have much life left so I am going to need a replacement. Does anyone know if insurance will cover two pumps? Am I just going to have to pay full price for a new spectra or does anyone know of a way to get it cheaper (without it being a used item)?

I don’t know of a way to get it cheaper, unfortunately. But hopefully someone else will. I am in a similar situation, just had my 2nd and started to reuse my blue spectra. I am planning to order a hands free pump this time too (haven’t gotten to that yet). I was wondering how you know that your spectra doesn’t have much life left? Just wondering what to look for myself.

Insurance will most likely only cover one pump per pregnancy.

even if u don’t get a new stationary pump this time around it should be okay! i have multiple friends who don’t own a stationary and only have the portable ones (like momcozy). so just know it’s not the end of the world if u don’t get one 🤍
