Is anyone leaving their babies to self-settle during the night?

I leave my girl to settle herself if she wakes up from a nap early (like after 30 mins), and almost always she will go back to sleep after 10-15 minutes of whinging. I've recently started not rushing to get her if she wakes up in the night - she's been sleeping 10-11 hours with 0-1 wakes since she was 8 weeks old. A few nights over the last week she's woken and I've left her to moan a bit and she's drifted back to sleep within 15 minutes. Last night though she was squealing and all sorts (sounded like a right party in her room 😂), I kept drifting in and out of sleep but I think it was a good 45 min wake period from her (but with no crying) before she went back to sleep. Just curious what people are doing for night wakes, especially for babies that dropped a night feed many weeks ago

My baby starts screaming down the house after 5 mins 😂

Mine starts screaming after 20 seconds 🥲😂

I’d get him straight away if he started properly crying. Whinging or chatting I would leave him

Well I do rush simply because I don’t want to run the risk of waking my toddler. And I have got in the habit of he wakes around 3 I don’t really offer a bottle anymore if he settles down in the bed with me. If not then I’ll feed and put straight back down x

If he's not crying I don't pay him any attention. They can wake in the middle of the night and practice their new skills that they're learning, so lots of chatting and squeaking at the moment over here
