Severe back ache

How old is baby? Get your bloods checked. I was diagnosed with high inflammatory arthritis after having my son. All my joints flared up 6 weeks post partum. Hope you feel better soon. I had horrendous back pain too xx

@Ruth oh that’s awful! Baby is 5 months old it’s just my back that is just so achy it’s making me feel so sick thank you will give that a go xx

Yep definitely ask for bloods to be done. It's more common than we realise for joint problems etc post partum. Epidurals can cause back aches too if you had one? My son is 4 in July but I'll always suffer with my joints unfortunately. On a strong drug for life. Had it years but nothing showed in bloods. Disappeared when pregnant and boom.... 6 weeks pp massive flare ups all over my body. This time it showed in bloods so could refer me. Might be nothing for you, could just be posture related but I totally feel you xx

@Ruth I had 2 failed epidurals went in too deep so had to go back to hospital after having him for a epidural spinal block😩thank you that’s really helpful I’m sorry u went thru this too but glad I’m also not alone x

Bless you :( that could be the reason for your back. I've been for eye test today as really sore bloodshot eye all week. Very sensitive to light. They've said I've got uveitis which affects middle layer of eye. Have to go straight to hospital tomorrow morning for treatment otherwise can damage vision. Said its really common in people with arthritis. I never have problems with eyes 😭 x

@Ruth ahh bless u sending u lots of love & hugs! I work in an eye unit at a hospital and uveitis is so so common but very manageable so you will be absolutely fine! 😊 & great that u got on top of it now good luck for tomo x

Ah wow small world haha. Thanks so much for the reassurance. I've begged my dad to take me so I've got a friendly face. Husband is night shift tomorrow. Hope you get sorted with your back, it's awful being in pain!! Push for bloods. I'm just a message away xx
