For those who had a vbac how many weeks+days were you when you went into labour?

Currently 32 weeks and desperate for a vbac but they want to induce at 37/8 weeks and I don’t think I’ll go into labour before then💔

What is the reason for the induction?

39+1 had her on 39+2

Can you not do a vbac if you get induced?

@Valerie baby is in the 3rd percentile so to induce for fetal growth restrictions

I was 39+2

Ohh I see! 😌 I’m sorry you’re dealing with a stressful situation. 🫶🏼 I have heard of positive VBAC induction stories. Who knows though, you might end up in labor right before then anyway!

I was induced at 41+5 due to being overdue and had my son at 42 weeks 🫣 x

I’m also wanting a VBAC but not being allowed past 39 weeks so being induced. There is a group on fb called VBAC support group UK there are so many positive stories on there and it seems to be a lot more common than you think to be induced for VBAC xx

41weeks with low dose pitocin induction

@Eve if you’re not happy with this you can decline it, they can’t tell you you’re ’not allowed’ to do anything really. My hospital tried to book me in for an induction at 40 weeks but I declined and agreed to go as far as I could to 41+5, even then I was on the fence about attending xx

Just had a VBAC few days ago i was 39+2

@Kaitlyn honestly I want to just leave it and go into labour spontaneously I know it’s my best chance for a VBAC but they don’t want me to go into labour at home unmonitored & I’m too scared to. My first baby had undiagnosed FGR & lost oxygen with every contraction, he was born with a severe brain injury as a result so unfortunately my best options are elective section or induction 😞 xx

41+3 (ended with emergency c section for other reasons but was allowed to trial labour and did so for 19 hours)
