Do you have a best friend?

I am beginning to think best friends are fake news (other than my hubby lol) bc I swear everyone we talk to is always like yeah let’s be friends but then dip out whenever anything is hard. If you do have a bff, how did you meet? What advice would y’all give me lol. And for clarification, I could defs get out more and try to meet more people… but I just don’t meet any moms that I can relate with hardly at all? Not sure why? Or like if I can handle being around them for a little bit then it seems that they aren’t interested in being friends with me? Ima blame it all on covid bc I think I just can’t socialize anymore

My best friend is from high school. She’s my person

I actually met my best friend (only friend) on here. We lived closer when we met. Now we live two hours apart and both have babies so we rarely see each other.

I actually met a girl on here and we’ve always clicked since! And even with us being in different states, we’ve stayed good friends. It’s crazy cause our lives are pretty much identical (2 young kids, same genders & ages, both married with our husbands having just joined the military but different branches). And even with us both leaving Utah and being in different states pretty far from each other, we still maintain good contact! I’ve never really been great at maintaining friendships, but I promise you the right one (or even multiple) will come along! And it won’t feel forced either :) S/O jamie g.😙

My best friend I met in college almost 9 years ago! She lives in Nebraska but we talk on the phone almost daily and visit each other every year. She knows everything about me 🥰

Church we met when we were 3. I’m no longer religious but she still very much is and we just accept each other even through all the changes. We don’t see each other often because we live two hours from each other now and both busy with kids and other responsibilities but she’s my best friend still besides my husband she knows me best. I think best friends that we think about is talking all the time going on outing calling texting and I just not in a point in my life I gave time for that. Other close friends we have a once a week Marco Polo catch up. I have had a hard time finding a local bestie.

I don't have a best friend and haven't since high school. I'm trying to make friends on here but haven't had much luck. But I'm going to keep putting myself out there. I'm sure there are people out there. I just have to keep trying. Which is the hard part. It's like dating all over again. Except I'm finding a friend. 🤣

Girl I feel you. My husband is my best friend! I have a best friend who I met at college but we live in different states so I don’t see her often. It’s been hard to make long lasting connections while working full time. But I think you don’t need many just someone you connect with is what matters most you don’t have to always be around them💕
