Time of birth

I never got given paperwork after I had my lg but my badger notes has the time she was born. If your area uses Badger, you can check on there

@Sophie badger is the same as paperwork but they would be from the same system notes so no idea which is right

If you had a section, they write on a whiteboard what time knife to skin, delivery etc happened so I don't know how they have that 20 mins different from what they told you!

@Sophie it's not even similar times like a typo. Out loud they said 5:22, paperwork 5:46

Same here ! I had a straight forward vaginal delivery. The midwife told me time of birth was 00:06. I requested my entire maternity notes under a freedom of info request and they say the head came out at 00:09? And other than that it does not say a time of birth on there My partner thinks the midwife’s assistant who was meant to note the TOB was new and missed it. 😒

Don't worry what their notes say, if you know when your baby was born then that's all that matters. I had a freebirth at home and because the midwife came afterwards she just asked me when everything happened, so their notes are all a rough estimate 😄 It doesn't matter really

I only know because I have photos from the c section of him on the scales immediately after delivery, no one actually told me or gave me any paperwork x

Its just one of them things i remember. I still know what time i was born and my daughter too, a bit like the weight I suppose. Just strange for it to be 20 mins different, I would understand 2/3 mins

Yeah I got told he was 8:50am and then on paper it’s later, I had things personalised with the time I was told and not what the papers say so I’m sticking with what I was told 😬 somewhere someone is lying and I’m not willing to believe it’s me haha!!

@Chloe omg I just checked the time stamp on the photos from my section and it’s was exactly 08:50 so I did have the time right and the papers were wrong haha!! I wouldn’t have thought to check that!!

@Bianca I've just checked photos and they were 5 53 so I guess the 5 46 paperwork is right, not the 5 22 I was told 😢 don't know how long after they took photos though
