Yeah mine is only happy on the floor if I'm playing with him otherwise I get max 10 mins more like 5. He's getting better at tummy time and he'll sometimes manage 10 mins of that which helps cause he can look around more. His favourite place is the highchair - I started him in that before we started weaning cos he can sit supported and then he likes watching me do stuff in the kitchen & he can play a bit with toys on the tray

@Sofi omg same haha she likes the chair doesnt really like bouncer for long anymore either, she doesn't really like floor time either unless I'm sat with her, this we have same babies 🤣

hmm, I started letting my baby chill on the floor around that age too, just keep an eye on them and maybe throw some toys down to keep her entertained! here's what the 'Heal Baby Care App' says.... "At 5 months, it's great to let your baby spend time on the floor for tummy time and exploration, ideally around 20-30 minutes a day, broken into shorter sessions. This helps develop their muscles and coordination. To keep her engaged, consider using colorful toys or a play mat with different textures.

Things that keep my baby busy on the floor on her back or tummy time: kick piano mat, vtech tambourine, vtech crawl ball, a burping cloth underneath her head, she loves biting it, cloth book, comforter, contrast books. She has other toys that I keep rotating but she doesnt love them as much.
