This happened to me with my first birth too. Ask for a birth review with the hospital (they can take some time, I had to wait 14 weeks for mine) and after that you can put in a complaint with the hospital or CQC if you feel the need to. I had an elective section with my second in January 2024 and still had a haemorrhage during the procedure despite having the best surgical team possible.
Anyone can request a birth review, even if it all went exactly to plan. It’s worth doing as they’ll talk you through what decisions were made, what happened and you can ask questions. You can then see how you feel after this.
You can contact the hospital and ask for a birth review and they'll get all your paperwork together, review what happened and answer any questions you have. We haven't done it yet but have considered it as we were another induction that went badly and also led to an emergency c section
