Who had VBAC after planned C-section how long and how was the labour?

1st pregnancy had planned c-section due to baby being breech so never experienced going into labour. Have been told because of this my second labour will be long as first labour as baby never went through birth canal. That is not super inspiring :))) what are your experiences?

I just had my VBAC and week ago.. my labor was 19 hours long. But it was one of the most incredible experiences.

I was in the same situation and expecting a long labour but it was pretty average, even a bit on the faster side for a first. 12 hours from the first contraction until birth. About 7 hours of latency, 3.5 hours of active labour and 1.5 hours of pushing. No complications whatsoever and I dilated pretty fast and steadily. Part of it was luck and part of it was good preparation, the right environment and being surrounded by the right people. I was able to move around freely and use all the right positions to help with dilation and descent. And being in a calm, supportive environment also helps with oxytocin production to speed up labour. I believe it really made a difference. It was a truly amazing experience for me!

I had a vaginal delivery after 2 planned c sections. The labor was fine. Pushing was exhausting. I was induced so it took a couple days from start to finish. You should basically just have it in your mind that this is your first baby all over again when it comes to the delivery because for your body that’s true!

@Angelina did you go into natural labour or induction. How many weeks were you, when you gave birth Xx

@Ikra i was 39+2 and I lost my mucus plug that day followed by my water breaking later that evening. Contractions started and I got to the hospital and was only 3cm, stayed stayed moving and active and 19 hours later I gave birth. I did have a epidural placed at 6cm.
