Do I need a next to me cot for hight time and a Moses basket for downstairs with a new born or you would put them down to nap upstairs? This is my first child and I’m clueless lol

Yeah we had both. Moses basket downstairs and next to me upstairs and then when my LG was just over 6 months moved her to her cot for naps to get used to it....and about 7 months we transitioned her into her cot at bedtime in her own room ❤️ xx
I’ve got a Moses basket for downstairs on the recommendation of a friend who had her baby in January. Largely to save on the stairs and to disturb him less when he falls asleep in the day.
We have moses down and next 2 me up. Its fine for them to nap upstairs but you will need to be in with them so for ease I found it best to have somewhere up and down to put him down.

I would say yes- because safe sleep encourages you to be closeby when they’re very little. And also saves you on the stairs especially if you end up having a c section! 🥰
