HELP- Getting Baby to Sleep

What sleep training methods have worked for you??? I don’t believe in cry it out. Our baby won’t go to sleep. We’ve tried a little of the Ferber method and letting cry a little but she doesn’t settle and I feel terrible. So don’t wanna do it. She has gotten so used to sleeping on me and it’s so hard to get her to sleep. The past couple nights it has taken 4+ hours to get her to sleep in her crib for her to only wake 4 hours later and take 1 hour to get her back down. What do you do that helps??? We are at our wits end.

Following! I’m in need of help as well! I’m in a very similar situation!

How long did you try the Ferber method? We did the Taking Cara Babies 5-10-15 method (which is basically Ferber). Had a rough first 3 days, but he got it after that and has been sleeping through the night with no wake ups for months!

Same issue here and she'll want to breastfeed so bad during the night while I'm trying to stop night feeds. She'll wake up every two hours almost

We are currently doing a modified Ferber where we do her bedtime routine, put her in her crib and come back after 2-3 min to check in. She cries everytime so we pick her up and soothe her until calm and then put her back in the crib. The first couple nights she struggled the most but now it only takes about 10-15 for her to fall asleep and she wakes up 2-3 times. I still nurse her once a night. My daughter does not respond well to the same method during wake ups so I either nurse her back to sleep or rock her back to sleep. We were having 8-10 wake ups a night!
