@Justyna my girl was born 19th and she’s been like this for on and off a while now , she’s bottle fed as had issues that had to change to formula but that was at the beginning ..I just don’t really know what to do and feel like she’s not getting enough
If she will be hungry she will feed, so please don't worry as long as she is growing ok and having enough of wet/dirty nappies 😊 for me it was just the stress of getting out while she only fed for a few mins when breastfeeding, so I switched to the bottle to actually see how much she eats and be able to make a bottle when out. She has been much better since, her nappies are way fuller. For us I think it is distraction and teething, maybe try giving her teething granules before a feed of some teething gel if she shows signs of teething? I know someone mentioned they turn tv on for baby to feed, a few mins of Dancing Fruit could do the trick maybe? I sing when my daughter doesn't want to take the bottle or if she stops feeding and just looking around.
hmm, that sounds tough, my little one went through a phase like that too, just keep offering it and try not to stress too much, they usually figure it out! I actually checked the 'Heal Baby Care App' for this and here's what it says: "It sounds really stressful to see your baby struggling with feeding. It's not uncommon for babies to have fluctuations in their appetite, but if she's only taking a small amount, it might be worth exploring a few things. Consider checking if she's teething, feeling unwell, or if there's a change in her routine. Have you noticed any other symptoms, like fussiness or changes in her behavior?
I've had the same for a month now, baby from 29th Sep, I stopped breastfeeding during the day for this reason. She is better on bottles with my milk and I started introducing formula last week, but morning feeds are always small.
