early Intervention was amazing for me. I live in the state of New Jersey and when we got the referral for my first son, they were so hands-on they gave me so much really good material especially because my son end up being special needs a lot of material to help him. on top of that he had the best therapist they even are people I keep in touch with until today
I did, he just aged out at 3.. if I'm being totally honest, it didn't seem to help his speech much. It did help give me skills in how to prevent and work through his awful behaviors which seemed to stem from not being able to express himself.
My son has been in speech since October. Turned 2 in February. Still isn’t talking. We mainly play and just talk every day routines and activities. Children learn through play
They put my daughter she’s only 12 months old I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect they simply do an evaluation and see where your child is at ask a lot of questions to you about their communication and observe them through play and interaction. We haven’t started the official therapy yet but they will tell you how many times a week they think will be good for your child based on their evaluation at the end and what you can do at home to help.
