Sleep regression 😩

My son will be one on Saturday and for the last couple of weeks he has been waking just before 5am. He doesn't have a dummy and will not go back to sleep. He sits there babbling away and occasionally whimpering or crying. I'm reluctant to go in and see him before 6am because as soon as he sees me he will demand milk. Demanding milk at 6am is also a new thing. Is anyone else experiencing this? My first son was nothing like this. From 9 months slept all the way through until 7.30am and soothed himself with his teddies. I'm finding it quite exhausting especially as he seems to wake around 3am too but he will go back to sleep quite quickly. Could this just be down to teething? 🤷‍♀️

Same here!! My son is about to be one at the end of March and out of sudden he started to wake up at 6am when he usually wakes up around 7:30 am. 😭😭😭

ugh, that sounds rough! my little one went through a phase like that too, and yeah, it could totally be teething or just a new sleep pattern, but it's exhausting for sure! here's what the 'Heal Baby Care App' says.... "It sounds like you're dealing with a challenging sleep situation, and it's understandable to feel exhausted. Waking early can sometimes be linked to developmental changes, teething, or even hunger as they grow. Since your son is approaching one, he may also be experiencing a growth spurt, which can increase his appetite.

Thank you. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one!
