I had baby at 45 - was breastfeeding and got my period after 10 months. I am now almost 49 and have regular period - so what you are experiencing sounds perfectly normal to me.

I had mine at 44, was breastfeeding and got my period a year to the day after giving birth. It wasn’t that long ago, but have been regular since.

That sounds quite normal if you're breastfeeding. It can take a really long time, even for young women who are definitely not perimenopausal. I've heard reports of even 18 months.
