Sleep regression
Any advice greatly appreciated! LO is 3 months tomorrow and I can’t help but think we’re starting the sleep regression phase. He’s always been quite good with nighttime sleep and was able to go down at 3/4am feed awake and settle, then he started STTN, between 8-10 hours. This last week (think he has a cold too) he’s started waking from naps around 30/45 mins (naps are always on me which I want to get out of!) and the last 4 nights he’s woken multiple times either determined to be awake or won’t settle without his dummy constantly being put back in. Tried for 45 minutes this morning pick up and put down in his crib but he got so irate that I felt he was past the point of being able to self settle and didn’t want to leave him to cry.
Has any one found something that works? Have people just ridden it out and it’s past eventually? If I do nothing will it just stay like this because technically the regression doesn’t ‘end’? I paid £45 for a sleep consultant guide on support for a sleep plan etc and it was as useful as a chocolate fire guard’ Please help! 🤯
Keep the routine and the times as much as you can. Contact nap if needed. It's a very bumpy roller-coaster and I think the hardest one of all but you got this. It will pass ❤️.
