We love ours. I thought it might give some anxiety as well but gave it a try and now I sleep so much better. The sock has only fallen off and alerted us once when we upped the size and other than that no false alarms. It also tracks his sleep so it’s nice to see his sleep patterns and show my husband how many times he woke me up in the night 🤣
I love ours, it really helped me survive PPA. I thought I was going to obsess over it at first and cause more anxiety but it really has given me peace of mind during the night and we both end up sleeping so much better.
Okay good to know! I keep going back and forth on putting it on him as we have made it this long without it but wondering if it’s not worth it to not put him in it. How long do you plan to use it for?
It really gives me peace of mind that she’s okay because I was worried about it, I plan on using it as long as she fits into it, it really reduces my anxiety and lets me feel like I can sleep or leave the room after I put her to sleep for the night
It gives me the best peace of mind. It’s the only reason I was able to mentally transition him to his crib. The owlet alarms on your phone/app will go off as loud as an amber alert, so they’ll definitely wake you up/get your attention!
I actually just stopped using mine @ 12 weeks old lol, I used it everyday religiously before this. Beware the placement alarm might piss you off enough to stop using it. I liked it because I could sleep without thinking something bad would happen and I wouldn’t know
We returned it after the first false alarm! To each their own but it seems unnecessary to me.
I bought one when my daughter turned 6 weeks because she was starting daycare at 7 weeks. We use it every night and I honestly think it’s the only reason I can sleep when she does. We also have and use the Nanit
I love the peace of mind it gives me! 😊 we’ve gotten 2 false alarms but I’d rather get a false alarm than have something be wrong and me not know 🥹
@Alexis interesting! Was the alarm the reason you stopped using it? Curious to hear why you stopped using it. I know there’s no “safe” time to stop using it but I can’t tell if it’s more helpful in the early weeks or not. Wonder if I should have used it then vs trying to introduce now. Ugh being a mom is hard!
We actually just got one for our 13 week old. She never liked to be swaddled and started turning to her side a week ago & I was anxious about her turning on to her stomach during the night so we got it. So far I like it & no issues! We never had it with our first and never felt the need for it until this baby.
So my little dude was a preemie and used to things being on his feet, never bugged him. But he also never had any sleep issues. He had feeding events but that’s was it. Yes, the alarm was why I stopped 😅 it went off 3 days in a row at 4am. Waking up everyone in the house for it “needing adjustment” id adjust it, and it would go off 10-15 minutes later for the same thing. After the 5th time I got VERY frustrated and baby was wide awake at that point from me having to nearly fully undress him every time. And just no good. I noticed last week, I hadn’t used it since then 😆😅
But I might use it again once he’s in a separate room down the road just for peace of mind again
I can sleep because of it honestly

I hated it because of all the alarms. I didn’t want the owlet to begin with, but husband did. We recently stopped using it. Any time baby needed a diaper change it set off alarms because of placement or lost connection when we took her in the other room to her changing table. The app then started to malfunction and wouldn’t let us turn off the alarm. It seemed to get progressively more annoying until we gave up on it altogether. I do like having the camera and audio. I prefer to just use those without the sock.
I’ve used ours since my baby was a couple weeks old. For me personally it really helps my anxiety! I feel like I can actually relax at night and sleep.
It is amazing! We love ours! Our baby girl is 10 weeks and has worn it almost every night. She has severe reflux and her oxygen dropped one morning when she was struggling to breathe. I was getting dressed and it alerted me, and I ran in and was able to help her. It is a real life saver.
We have one & it gives me soo much peace of mind. It will alarm you when the battery is low or the sock isn’t placed right and I am ngl that sometimes scares me but at least I know it works.
