Bedtime

My LB does pretty much all naps in his cot and bedtime fine.. come 11-12pm he just will not resettle back into his cot.. even if I do manage it he seems to wake 15mins - hour later and after a few failed attempts I have to have him in with me.. anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to get him to stay in cot.. this has been going on for a good few months now and he always used to stay in his cot before this 🤦🏼‍♀️ xxx

Following, I could have written this post myself 😭😴

I know it's super hard as you'll just want to sleep but you need to just keep resettling and putting him back in. He will soon get tired and learn he is not coming back into bed with you. At the moment he knows if he keeps pushing you'll give in, just keep at it and putting him back in it will eventually stop. My son was also like this and I didn't want to sleep train so I just resettled with cuddles and rocking and put back in it took a few nights where I felt like I could die from no sleep but he knows now that's his bed and that's where he stays xx

@Laura Thankyou hun, tbh I thought this probably would be the case and keep at it.. I’m now back at work 2 days a week and just exhausted and especially on those days I give up very easily/quickly just to try and get the sleep! On the days I don’t work I think I just need to keep at it! Promising to know that it worked for you in the end as I don’t want to sleep train either! xxx

Could it be teething pain or something like that kicking in and he just wants/needs your comfort? 🤷🏽‍♀️

@Becky it definitely was that, that’s why I was happy to co sleep with him as knew he just wanted to have extra comfort.. now he’s just made himself too comfortable 😅🤦🏼‍♀️ xxx
