Radiating pain

Ever since I was startled at work yesterday I've had this radiating pain (nerve firing) every time I step down on my left foot. It shoots up from my lower back and down to about my knee. It's getting hard to walk. Last night I has my heat pack on my back and it didn't help. I felt awful because my son wanted to play and I couldn't. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and this is different from the sciatic pain I had in my third trimester with my first. Pain is there when I'm not walking, just not the firing sensation. Sitting doesn't help either. I'm debating whether I should sign out and go home or not.

I do do a lot of walking in my job and portering. Today is a lighter day. I only have portering in the afternoon as I am going to the resident's rooms in the morning (opposed to them having to be brought to a different room)

I’m going on a 9 month sciatica flare up with absolutely no good days in between. Injections didn’t even work. I’m not pregnant and it’s been a really long time since I have been but, rotating acetaminophen and ibuprofen makes it so I can walk. If you can take those I would. Also if you lay on ur side when you sleep make sure you have a sturdy pillow between your legs.

Sounds like u may have sciatica
