Accident reflux!???

As of latley I have been getting extreme upper middle stomach pain. To the point where I can’t do anything but be in pain for roughly 20-30 mins. No position helps. Sometimes water does. But what makes it stop is if I force myself to throw up everything in my body. Then it completely goes away in an instant. Last week I went to the ER because it happens 3 times in a row. I couldn’t function. They did a CAT scan and found nothing. They said it was acid reflux. That’s what I read online as well. It doesn’t matter what I eat. It usually happens at night. Has anybody else gone through this?

Yeah. Acid reflux is worse at night. I had it before getting pregnant due to my stomach ulcer. I never threw up (hate the feeling). I used a heating pad or sat in the tub/shower. There’s way to help prevent it or to lower the pain. Like eating sitting up/stay sat up for 30 minutes after ingesting something

I had that happen a bunch after I had my son then 6 weeks after I gave birth I was in such horrendous pain I wasn’t able to sleep then passing out from the pain it turned out I had necrotic tissue around my gallbladder as it had died sometime shortly after giving birth and the infection was just growing

@Sabrina woah, how did they find that out? Was it a CAT scan? I recently had one and they said they couldn’t find anything wrong. That sounds really scary, are you doing OK now?
