What to do with a thrower

Hi all, My little one just seems to throw everything. and I mean everything and everywhere. I’ve tried saying no, he laughs, I tried to point him to things he can throw like soft balls, hes not interested. He throws food, he throws toys, he throws books, things get thrown in the bath, in the toilet (which is so frustrating but I have a 3 year old that needs easy access to the toilet or they will wet themselves so cant lock it🥲) he throws things at people, he tears things apart so he has more to throw. Its his favourite things to do and Ive had enough being hit in the head by flying projectiles 🥲 Anyone else going through the same or have done. What can i do?

It doesn’t work all the time but sometimes if I ignore the throwing & try to distract them it works.

Mine had a phase of this and I had to go minimalist and everything went on top of the kitchen cupboards or fridge. Luckily it was only a few weeks. Sounds so hard with 3 year old though. Can you involve 3 yo to "coach" 1 year old in more targeted throwing eg into a basket or show how to kick the football instead?
