Breastfeeding / bottle

My breastfed baby never took the bottle. Now I’m stressing about nursery, is it too late to try the bottle (baby doesn’t seem interested at all), can anyone advise what to do?

You best bet is whatever you use for water - sippy/straw. Or look into the honey bear straw bottles as you can gently squeeze them to help I think

I wouldnt go back to a baby bottle at this stage, as most will be getting them off them soon. My girls never had a bottle either, but uses a straw cup to drink water so ill be putting milk in that and seeing how it goes, and then eventually an open cup x

You’re not supposed to use a bottle past one, so I wouldn’t bother trying to get one for using for a month at the most.

This lady on tik tok ( health visitor) has done quite a few posts about it. And I’ve just seen another - might be helpful https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNdRP9p74/

My first is the only one to have gone to childcare and it was only 2/3 days a week but she never dropped feeds so was like a newborn if I was around. But she wouldn’t take a milk unless it was directly from me so she just had solids till I came back. My 2nd and 3rd could take a bottle and dropped feeds but theyre always with me 🙄
