Pre crawling methods
Did anyone’s baby start crawling from sitting up and leaning forward, rather than being in tummy time and lifting themselves up? Our baby seems to do the former all the time and wants to be upright rather than in tummy time.

Mine is the same, she hates being on her tummy and generally just ends up putting her head down like cba if she is on her stomach 😂 she just leans forward from sitting as if she wants to crawl atm
Yeah my boy does the same. Hell get on all 4s from tummy time but can't figure out how to move so he'll army crawl around
My little one can get into crawling position from sitting up, she’s hardly on her belly so she’s learnt from sitting she either just pushes forward or leans to the side and gets into crawling… hasn’t actually crawled yet just gets into the position!

My first learnt how to crawl by going from sitting up and moving into hands and knees whereas my second learn to crawl before he could sit from tummy time, so I guess they’re all different 😃
