The first stage of labor can last 12-24 hours. It’s hard to be patient I know! Hang in there you’re likely close!
Same 😭 and I have a scheduled induction tomorrow . Wish it would if came natural
It can happen anytime! Remember that our body needs oxytocin to go into labor! We need to psychological be ready too and not stressed. I'm struggling with that right now! Working on it
I went into labor yesterday evening. I was having braxton hicks contractions and pelvic pressure the night before, and then everything kind of slowed down. Then around 1 yesterday evening the contractions just started coming every 5 mins and I had my baby boy 5 hours later... it all happened really quickly!
With my first I had a slow leak that started at 9am, contractions started around 3pm and he was here same day right before 7pm! I was 41+3 which is super normal for FTMs and had a home birth so no interventions.
@Elisa Maria good luck tomorrow but hopefully baby comes before then!!
@Chelsea that’s probably my issue too haha. My other kids are always stressing me out haha. I had my bloody show a week ago and have been losing my plug on random days since then so idk why my body isn’t taking the next step!

@Chelsea I’ve heard those help! My doctor recommended induction today but I declined….hoping I don’t regret that decision!
I have an elective one scheduled for tomorrow... idk how I feel about it. I've never been induced but I'm so tired!!
@Chelsea I’ve had two very positive inductions in the past!! I would 100% do it again this time I just really want to experience a more “natural” labor for my last baby
You can go into labor at any time of the day or night :)
