Babies will typically drop weight its totally okay, but also that’s motherhood now 😭 I leave her I’m anxious, she’s sleeping I’m anxious, she’s doing things on her own I’m anxious, we go to the doctors I’m anxious. There’s always gonna be something and now I’m on my second and idk how I’m gonna handle anxiety on two kiddos and myself ☠️
Sweetheart, please don't blame yourself. It sounds like you are doing your best for your child. I hope you can find comfort in that. Try to look at it from a friend's perspective. She would be so kind to you. Now be that friend to yourself. Everyone has times like that too though. You and your son are in my prayers ❤️
You are doing great! That is a lot to deal with and you are loving on your baby. Unfortunately we all have the mum guilt. It’s such a bitch! If it makes you feel any better my 4.5 month old lost weight as well at about the same time (apparently that can happen as they start to not gain as much weight and are sleeping more.) my nurse got me to go back to feeding every 4 hours at night and 2-3 hours between feeds in the day. I only just got approved to go back to 6 hours of sleep and we have hit the 4 month regression. You are doing amazing. Give yourself a pat on the back you are being active in looking after your child.
Welcome to the headspace of being a mom! I wish I could say it gets better/easier? But alas, it does not. If it's not this to worry about, it will be something else. It's literally the most uncomfortable feeling in the world to feel anxiety like this all the time. I have no suggestions other than you are not alone, sweetie, we're all right there with you 😉
