Asprin - nausea

Hay! I’ve just found out I have low PAPP-A and I’ve been prescribed Asprin. It’s my first time taking them, after a full meal, and I feel a little nausea. Has anyone else experience this? I’ve been extremely luckily and haven’t dealt with sickness in my pregnancy, so nausea isn’t actual symptom of mine.

I did! My midwife told me to take mine before bed - I wonder if that’s to avoid the sickness perhaps?

@Jen I’ve got borderline low Papp-A also and I’ve been taking 150mg since I was 12weeks. Like Harriet my midwife told me to take it just before bed xx

Thank you both, that’s useful to know. I’ll make sure I do that from now on x

It might help to take aspirin that’s gastro resistant, it’s easier on your stomach lining

I had that too. I took it before going to bed, but made sure I was still upright for a good 30-60 minutes, else I'd get horrible heart burn or reflux :( hope you feel better soon
