Worried autism
I’m starting to get worried about my little girl , she has always been a fussy baby needed to be bounced or dosent like cuddles since she was small. She was never a really big milk drinker and everyone kept saying oh she’ll devour food the first month or 2 was fine she’d try different foods and let me feed her now she literally screams her head off will not let me feed her anything and will only eat yoghurt, cheese, toast , and a rusk or melt puff , hv isn’t worried but I am because she also only responds to her name 50% of the time she stims with her voice , she flaps her hands when excited and also bounces loads. She also has these explosive crying fits for no reason and I’m starting to worry if these are signs of autism as that’s all I’ve seen on tick tok🙈 I don’t know how to get her to eat anything
Tik tok is not a reliable source unless they're all medical professionals. My baby isn't great with food and due to a allergy has been up and down with milk. Most babies are sensory seekers, that's why baby books have furry bits and flaps, they twirl their hands and bounce for that same reason. My baby also waves his hands around when he's excited. And regarding responding to name, that's also not uncommon. The fact they respond some of the time is good. Maybe speak to GP to ease your mind too but until they're older and communicating etc you're unlikely to know either way. You're doing a great job and if your child has autism then great, you've still got an amazing child who just sees the world differently. I don't have tik tok for the very reason that there are loads of people talking absolute nonsense on there so maybe take some time away from it and that might help too.
