EBF & Pumping Help

Hi all... My baby boy is almost 8 months. I'm a first time mum so this is still new to me. I EBF & have had no real need to introduce a bottle...but now I am having to think about this as have some events coming up where I won't be around to feed. LO seems to take the bottle fine from the couple of times I have tried in the last few days. I'm just curious to know from those more experienced... 1. If you give your little one a bottle for bed time, do you use expressed milk from nighttime? I have heard it can have different hormones in it that can help baby sleep, but not sure if that's true. Or can you use anytime expressed milk? 2. How do you know how much you'll need? The few times I've tried have ended up with LO being back on boob after. 3. What do your pumping & feeding schedules look like? 4. Any other words of wisdom to help me get my head around what might seem like a simple thing but I'm making it harder for myself...😂 TIA x

I exclusively pump. 1. I used to use night milk for night bottles, but didn't see any difference. I now mix everything in a pitcher and make bottles from that. 2. I find it trial and error. My little one is almost 10 weeks, and his bottles vary all the time. You can always give your little one more after if they want more. 3. I pump roughly every 3 hours during the day, during the night I pump when little one wakes for a bottle. 4. If your expressing, make sure you've got the right flange size (inserts are great) x

1. I use anytime milk, makes no difference at how long he will sleep or the quality of his sleep 2. Anywhere between 90-150ml in my opinion, that’s roughly how much they will drink from the boob. 3. I pump 5 times a day, every 5h including one in the middle of the night, LO he eats every 2.5-3h during the day and 6-7h during the night

I use any milk! Recently upped to 180ml but she usually has max 150ml. I pump every 4 hours ish day and night. Recently switched from an electric pump to a manual one and I'm getting loads more. I had written a manual one off but it's been amazing. It's been a bit trial and error with pumps for me personally
