I feel ur pain mama. My baby didnt sleep long stretches till 13 months. Sleep training didnt work for us. I think whatever you guys try, be consistent. So your night routine is the same everynight. Baby knows youre there, everythings fine, baby knows what to expect.
@seo Great advice! Consistency is KEY!
@seo thank you, yes we do try and be consistent. I take it your baby just suddenly started sleeping more themselves rather than you changing anything?
@Leanne we tried several times to sleep train but i couldnt handle it. She would cry so much. But once we stopped nursing at nighttime she gradually stopped waking. We did give her plushie & water to hold onto
Check sleep schedule and timing of bedtime as well as your routine first and then I’d recommend Sleep Training using a method you feel comfortable with. Also practice during the day him putting his pacifier back in his own mouth and then you can put 8-10 pacifiers around his crib so he can grad one himself vs you always putting it back in.
