What is your baby wearing under swaddle?

I use the cotton halo sleepsack swaddles and use a cotton footed long sleeve sleeper underneath. Is that too warm for baby if room is typically about 71-72 degrees F? I also use a light flannel blanket underneath baby to hold arms down before I swaddle so arms have like 3 layers over them.

My LO is like his dad and runs hot and he would be drenched in sweat with that many layers

Man, I struggle with this too. If I have too little on him he seems so cold. Hands and feet frozen. If I put one little thing on under his sleep sack he is sweaty 😓

Onesie and sometimes socks. I keep it freezing in my house. 😅

check the back of their neck for their temperature not the hands or feet! If its hot/clammy then dress them down a bit and see how they do. My daughter would likely be fine in what you're doing, but we don't swaddle. Swaddles make them a bit hotter

It’s usually about 68-70 in our room and we have a shortsleeve onesie, footed and mitten pajamas, then a wearable blanket with a tog of 1. He seems content.

@Jess the one thing I obsess over is temperature! My toddler is 3 and I still ask every night what the temp is to make sure she is dressed right 😂 this new baby is no different!
