Thank you! I’ll try the shower and see if it helps. As far as the flange I’ll have to see what my options are for a bigger size because the pump didn’t come with anything bigger than a 24
@Umara they have flange sizing chart things on Amazon for super cheap! Like 3-4 dollars if I remember correctly. You just measure yourself and you can see what size you are! You can also order flange inserts that go inside of a 24mm flange incase you need a smaller size! I got a pack of them on amazon for about 10 dollars, it saved me from having to order completely new flanges. I recommend looking into those after you measure yourself to see what size you need! When I first started pumping the 24mm was too big, so I wasn’t getting much output, so that might be the case for you as well. If it is the inserts will come in handy, that way you won’t have to buy completely new flanges! If you need help finding anything you can send me a message and I can send you the amazon links!
My size is a 24. If I need a bigger one then I’ll have to get a 27. I have the mom cozy m5. I believe it came with 21 inserts. I never thought about nipple size changing. That could be my issue because my nipples swell so much after pumping
@Umara if you’re swelling you’re not bigger. You need proper sizing. Please Check out thepumpingclinic.com
Lymph drainage before you pump and during if you can. I just got some of that sunflower lechin to help it not be clogged
@Na’sha when I measured the instructions told me to use 24. I’ll try the 21 during my next pump and see if I have some improvement
Maybe try taking a warm shower before you pump to see if that helps you at all? I find that I get a lot more milk that way. Otherwise, it’s possible that you need to change your flange size. My nipples changed sizes once I started pumping, and as soon as I adjusted the size, I got more output and less pain. Best of luck!
