Venlafaxine and hospital stay after birth questions

Hello! I’m 22w pregnant, on the highest dose of venlafaxine and had a mental health “wobble” about 18 months ago. My team aren’t keen at all on reducing the dose & I have been advised I’ll need to stay in the hospital for 48hrs after I give birth to monitor baby for any withdrawl symptoms. The bumps website and mw have assured me it’s quite rare/very low risk to baby and more of a formality however I’m still feeling anxious about this. Is anyone on high dose SSRI/SNRI and can share their experience after birth with me if you don’t mind?

Hiii I’m on 40mg citalopram which (I think) is the highest dosage of citalopram to help with my bpd symptoms, my baby girl was born healthy and happy. No withdrawal symptoms and left the hospital 24 hours after giving birth x

Also on highest dose of Venlafaxine, although they were very reassuring while I was pregnant that he’d be monitored for withdrawals for the first few days, they didn’t end up doing it. I was encouraged to bf so he was still getting a bit of it through the milk instead of it being stopped in his system cold turkey. He has however been totally fine and I’ve since stopped bf and he’s still fine.

I’m on 225mg of Venlafaxine and had my little boy in November, he was absolutely fine and had no withdrawals whatsoever and we were out the next day x

I’m ok quetiapine and was told my boy would have withdrawl symptoms but he didn’t x

High dose venlafaxine here (and others ) there were more concerned for baby about the blood pressure medication I was on due to pre eclampsia. I stayed on high dose meds through 2 pregnancy’s and both my boys were fine afterwards. No withdrawal at all.
