Single or dual breast pump?

So I decided to breastfeed baby no 2 as I lost the chance to do it with my first born. Is a dual breast pump worth it or will I just end up using just one anyway?x

Your body produces 30% more milk if you use a double pump

100% double pump. I’ve exclusively pumped for 6 months and have had a few pumps, would recommend the Lansinoh wearable

@Charlotte oh that is actually one that isn’t to bad in price 😮 at what point do you start using a breast pump? Not straight away if I understand it correctly x

@Moa I kind of fell into pumping when my LG was as around 6 weeks. It was Christmas time and we had loads on so expressing and giving her bottles just worked really well. She had breast and expressed bottles for around 3 weeks and then she refused boob because a bottle was so much easier for her. I just carried on pumping from there and although it was hard work pumping every 3 hours at first, now I only pump every 6 hours and I make enough to feed her 34ish oz a day. It’s not badly priced at all and it’s the only one that hasn’t made me end up with mastitis! After 4 lots back to back I changed to the Lansinoh and it hasn’t returned 👌

Thank you @Charlotte!🥰 I have been so conflicted because formula was easier with the first one but I felt like I missed out on the experience a bit so has taken me a while to decide during this pregnancy if I should do it this time. (I struggled with the first one) x
