issues with 4 year old sleep?
he says he wants to sleep in his bedroom on his own, but then an hour after being in there he’s awake crying his eyes out petrified but won’t tell me what’s wrong. i’ve tried everything, even a new bloody bed! he just always ends up in with me and i really want him to start sleeping in his bedroom as i already have his sister in here with me!! id just love my bed back 😂
he’s just really upset when he wakes up and lays there eyes wide open until i go in and tickle his hand, then he’ll go to sleep and i’ll leave and he’ll wake up again 5 minutes later. thing is if he falls asleep in my bed, i can leave him asleep in here and he doesn’t wake up!!
My three year old is the same. We put her to sleep in her own (new) bed, and then every night she comes in to us at around 11/12. I’m downstairs in the spare room at the moment with my 11 week old but she was doing it for ages before that too. We just ended up getting a super king bed when we moved into this house as we know it won’t be forever. She’ll do it when she’s ready. Dad has his little bed friend upstairs and I have my little bed friend downstairs (although he’s thankfully in his next to me). No advice, the solidarity and maybe the suggestion of a bigger bed 🤪
