Transitoning to cot
My daughter is 3 weeks away from being a year old and last week we put her in a cot in our room away from our bed, but the last few days she has screamed in her cot until I pick her up and put her back in her next to me crib.
Has anyone else experienced this?

We did Moses basket for 3 weeks Next to me until 5 months Space saving crib until 8 months Then big cot own room from Jan 2nd. Each was a little bigger each time.
Do you still have the next to me attached to the bed? When we transitioned at 6 months I did a few weeks of the next to me still in our room but away from the bed, only about a meter we have a small room but it seemed to ease the switch for me at least anyway. Then we went straight to cot in his own room and I put the next to me down so I wasn't tempted to give in and use it so easily haha

Sometimes it can b the size is quite daunting to them. Try popping them in for naps during the day / letting them play in there a bit
