Baby still wakes up once or twice (three times on a bad night), but he is in his crib the whole time. You can help them by giving them a minute to fall back asleep on their own before rescuing them but I think it's largely luck how well your baby takes to sleeping long stretches. A boob at night usually puts my baby back asleep in like 10 minutes or so when he wakes
Do you know why your baby wakes up? Hunger, hands wake himself up, moves around a lot, diaper change? My baby moves in a circle throughout the night so needed a crib early on. He loves having the extra space and sleeps 10+ hours straight. But he’s also an ‘easy’ baby that drinks a ton during the day.
@Hanah N. He definitely moves around a lot, also in a circle. And he neverrr falls back asleep on his own. I wait to see if he does but usually not. I either pop him on the boob or rock him and he goes back to sleep instantly on my chest and then i just lay him next to me in bed
It’s not normal at this age to sleep through the night. It takes time. Give your baby and yourself some grace. I get up 1-3 times a night
I play baby sleeping music and rock mine to sleep. This seems to help as it also places me to sleep
I find that a bath, my boob after, and a drop of lotion with lavender puts my baby straight to sleep also dim red lights
