Same mine prefers to scream like a dinosaur🤣
@Meda I’m literally constantly gesturing to see if he will pick it up but nope he has not interest!
@Sam I guess that’s one way to communicate lol!
I’m in the same boat, mine does not wave, point, say any intentional words. Goes into a blank stare. Wont answer to his name and probably quite a few other things. It’s not a race, my best friend always told me that. And there is ABSOLUTELY no harm in getting resources where you need to 🥰
My daughter is 2 years 2 months and she only just started waving but she won't even look at people who talk to her and respond to her name. Where as my 7 month old responds to her name and stares at us and smiles. Every child is different... usually it's just nothing to worry about and they don't fit into a tick box and that's ok but if worried the health visitor and pedeatrician should help.
My bub doesn't really point but will sign/gesture some
All I can is every baby is SO different. My baby is almost 15 months and he started crawling 2 weeks ago and now he’s learning so much at once like pulling up on things and climbing up foam blocks. I had a little bit of worry in the back of mind since I know most babies crawl around 7 months. He also didn’t start rolling until 7 months. Just continue to encourage and be a role model for your babe, they will get it ☺️
THANK YOU LADIES 💛 Glad to know I’m not alone !
My son turned 14 months a few days ago. I have really been trying to get him to point and clap and having trouble. He does wave (not 100% of the time). He WILL NOT clap. He like resists when I try to show him. He sort of points in books but I think it's more to feel different textures in the book. He's never pointed to show me something. He does say a few "words" (mama, dada, baba, nana, and he has distinctly said hi a couple times but he hasn't said that in a long time). He also just started taking steps last week but he will only do it if there are two people involved and we kind of have to "set him up" so he can take the steps. I feel like we're very far from him doing any independent walking.
I’m in the same my son won’t point or wave he kinda half waves but not really 😬I’ve showed him so many times but he’s not picking up yet
