Labor??

Have you been timing them? Also does the pain feel like it wraps from your back to your stomach?!

Yes and yes! I’m about 4-5 minutes apart right now I think. I’m trying hard to time them but just hurting enough to where it’s kind of hard to focus on the clock lol @Kara

@Jordan Pfannenstiel yeah you could call labor and delivery and get their opinion on it. How long have you been having the contractions for? How long does each one last?

@Kara okay! They started about 5 am. Woke me up out of my sleep and maybe 1-3 minutes

Yeah I personally would go in. Definitely sounds like you are in labor to me. Again I would call labor and delivery and just tell them everything. But with being an hour from the hospital I think it’s better to be safe than sorry. You definitely don’t want to deliver in the car. So yeah being sent home sucks but I wouldn’t risk it.

It sounds like labor. If they didn't improve with rest and hydration then I would go in, especially if they are 4 mins or less apart.

I'd be calling and/or heading in. I was told 5 minutes apart, lasting about a minute. Hopefully things are going well, good luck!

Thank you everyone. I went in and they sent me home. I am still at a 1/75% I have a OB appointment tomorrow afternoon and they want to do a membrane sweep. I am still undecided on that but just hoping baby can make his entrance in his own!

@Jordan Pfannenstiel wow, I was sure you'd be posting baby pics as your next update! 😄 If I make it to my next appt on the 8th I'm actually considering the membrane sweep. Due date is the 7th, induction on the 9th, so if we can get things going before that would be great. I'm at 3cm already though. I thought sweeps were useless, but apparently if you're already due and the cervix has started prepping there is a 50/50 chance it gets things moving I read last night.

@Jordan Pfannenstiel yeah I’m super surprised to! Did the contractions just stop and now you aren’t having any? Sorry you got sent home but yeah always better to error on the side of caution in situations like that!

@Kara they stopped for a good while but I have been having them on and off since yesterday but not regularly enough to go to L&D. I ended up not doing the membrane sweep yesterday and now I’m wishing I would’ve lol I just want him to come on his own but dang, I am TIREDDDD!
