@Helen That’s reassuring. I don’t think there is a link, but if the placenta is too far to the side I’ve read that can cause complications.
All the sonographers ever said to me was that my placenta was nice and out of the way 😂
I had this combo with my 2nd pregnancy. 1st baby I had preeclampsia at the end and therefore got induced which ended in emergency c, so I had a higher risk of preeclampsia due to that as well with my 2nd. 2nd pregnancy I went into spontaneous early labour at 35+5. Had a VBAC with no complications VS a little trouble getting him out. My consultant didn’t ever seem worried about the placenta position at all though. I also didn’t take the aspirin with my 2nd as I was still BF my first and who knows if I’d have got preeclampsia, I didn’t get far enough to know if I’d have got it at the end like the 1st x
I had the same. My blood pressure did creep up towards the end of pregnancy but was never a real issue. No worries here and no one ever mentioned the placenta being lateral paired with the low Papp a being a thing?
