TTC while breastfeeding?

I’m feeling very discouraged & I’m reaching out for some encouragement.. my husband and I have been trying for months to get pregnant but it’s just not happening. I think it’s because I’m still breastfeeding and maybe I’m having hormone fluctuations… has anyone been in this boat? Did you have to completely stop nursing to get pregnant?

Yes with my second the month after i stopped breastfeeding i got pregnant.

I’m am still breastfeeding and got pregnant. However I do feel my ovulation dates were a little off compared to before. I think that is why I struggled a bit as well. I decided to utilize ovulation tests for the first time this month and just got my positive. So maybe that would help you guys?

My friend couldn’t get pregnant at all while breastfeeding. She had to completely wean before she could. So you might just need to keep trying/wean soon

I’m in the same boat right now. I’m still breastfeeding and personally unwilling to change nursing habits to get pregnant, but I am tracking ovulation and trying to ready my body for pregnancy again in the meantime. However, I still haven’t gotten my cycle back completely yet.
