At night - no
Yes I have I try not to as he’s gotten better with sleeping in his bassinet I’ve done it less and less .
@Keisha how did you get him to sleep in his bassinet?
Yup my sons gas is terrible and sometimes that is the only way to comfort him
I do breast feed so I just make sure he’s full I don’t feed on time limit. I make sure his diaper is changed, burped and help him pass any gas. I just make a little routine out of it.
We chest sleep every night. My boy is 6 weeks. Seems to help him with his gas which is a plus. We get pretty good sleep. He really never accepted sleeping in the bassinet and we quickly switched to co sleeping.
@Whitney same here. Just curious what your plan is for the future? Do you always plan to sleep this way or will you try crib in a few months when he’s older? I am just not sure what my next steps should be. I honestly love chest sleeping with my baby but I know it can’t last forever and am unsure what the transition will be like
We chest sleep / co-sleep up until a few nights ago. She just wouldn’t sleep unless I was holding her. But I’ve been transitioning her to her bassinet. We’ve had 2 nights in the bassinet so it’s a win!
@Jay that’s awesome! How did you transition her?
I'm hoping to transition him to the bassinet whenever he's willing. I don't really have a timeline or plan other than continuing what we're doing until he let's me know he's cool with something else.
If I’m awake it’s fine but if I’m asleep no,
