Sorry not baby related

Has anyone had LLTEZ treatment on their cervix? (Removal of precancerous cells) I am really worried about the pain and wondered if anyone had been through it and how they found it 😔

I have if you wanted to message me

I have but it was about 15 years ago! I don’t remember it being that painful to be honest and it was done quite quickly. I also remember being ok afterwards and couldn’t understand the fuss of being looked after but I was only 26. I guess it might depend on the severity and what to expect. Childbirth is definitely a lot more painful in my opinion!

I had it 2 years ago after my first ever smear. The procedure was fine no pain as your numbed and was over quick. I had cramping afterwards simmilar to period cramps and bizzare discharge which they will tell you about. Was able to carry on as normal right after it x

I asked to do it under sedation

I have had this procedure done under general anaesthetic. No pain during the procedure and was fine afterwards. I believe I have to wait an hour or so after before being able to go home (day surgery). About 10 days post procedure the scab to the wound will fall off and you will bleed, similar to a period with cramping. Unfortunately my bleed was extremely heavy (soaking through pads within 30 mins) but it eased after a few days.
