Hate my job

Just a rant really because I don’t have anyone else to really speak to. I returned from maternity leave in December. I didn’t like my previous manager there were multiple issues quite a toxic environment and not very flexible which wasn’t easy with 2 kids. I got a new job different trust starting at end of my maternity leave. It’s much more flexible but the culture is awful. My manager is quite bizarre, we are not really gelling. She swears alllll the time, she assumes I have done things wrong without asking me etc and has even stalked me on social media. My eldest daughter is having an autism assessment so we are already stressed and a bit overwhelmed and I am just hating this new job but feel trapped. I am a band 7 so it’s hard to move elsewhere because they don’t come up often. I feel a bit lost and am just plodding on but not enjoying anything at all.

Hi, sorry to hear you are experiencing this. With your extensive experience and seniority I thought there would be a lot of opportunities. I would continue to keep an eye out. Would you consider teaching in uni?
