Bottle refusal

Hey guys, my EBF baby completely refuses bottles (has happily taken them on and off till about 2 months ago)… Only me and my partner have tried bottles and not for a long period of time.. Me and my partner are going out on saturday without baby and she’s being babysat at our house by my best friend, ive spoken to a HV and they say she will not starve herself and she will end up taking it, it just may take a while.. i’m just super stressed about leaving her, what if she’s too stubborn to take the bottle? (it is a case of preferring boob, as if i swap her to bottle mid breastfeed she does eat until she realises it’s a bottle) Do you guys think she will take a bottle if she’s left long enough especially if i am not around? TIA my anxiety is going crazy!!!

Hey mama my son (almost 20m) was the same way! How old is LO? When we left for a date night he took a bottle no problem! Not smelling me or seeing me I think was the problem. He always did better for others. Have you tried different types of bottles? Can also try and squeeze some of the milk to get them interested in the bottle

Baby will do great and take a bottle for someone else because it'll be new and different. Try to relax and don't stress about what you can't control

@Tessa she is 5 months!! yes we have tried different bottles, HV told me to stick to the bottle that she has taken before which is MAM x
